VR2 – Silver
With the VR2 presents the successor of the popular VR1, to achieve not only optimized cooling of the hardware components, but also to support M-ATX systems.
The high quality case keeps its unique feature, which was already successfully used by its predecessor. Specially designed for installing overly long graphic cards vertically and even with the extended depth of the case, the VR2 keeps its compact size.
The exterior of the VR2 offers once again a very unpretentious yet elegant look, which will match almost any interior style. The very compact design helps to ensure that the VR2 can be integrated inconspicuously for example in the living room. The two, 5 mm thick, tempered glass side panels offer an unobstructed view on the installed hardware. The blue-lit Power-button is embedded in the plain front, the I/O-panel with 2 x USB 3.0 and the mandatory audio connectors can be found in the lower right corner of the front. The VR2 combines a steel chassis for maximum stability and an exterior of 1.0 mm aluminum for an elegant look.
Made from high grade material, the M-ATX case can be equipped with motherboards up to 245 x 245 mm. After the removal of the side panels the installation of the hardware is a breeze. ATX power supplies can be used inside the VR2 case, with a maximal length of 250 mm.
The hard disks can be mounted using rubber suspension in order to guarantee a very silent operation of the system. A total of four 2.5 and one 3.5 inch drives can be installed.
The intelligent interior design allows the installation of CPU coolers with a height of up to 190 mm and VGA cards of up to 300 mm in length. If the pre-installed 120 mm fans at the bottom are removed, the available space will be 320 mm. Optionally 140 mm fans can be also installed at the mounting points under the cover or on the bottom.
Due to the intelligent design, the vertical cooling system works very silently. Equipped with three 120 mm fans, two on the bottom and one under the top cover, with centrifugal fans which have more performance for overpressure, to protect the system against dust penetration.
The elegant case rests on decoupled “HiFi” case feet.
Depicted hardware is not included.
